POLKACOVER DAPP RELEASE UPDATE AND INTRODUCTION TO OUR INSURANCE DEMYSTIFIED SERIES
Since the advent of the crypto revolution, our community has been underserved in a host of different sectors of traditional service provision.
Within the last few years specifically, the lack of options has been felt acutely within the crypto Insurance sector. Holders of fiat currency have a plethora of marketplaces that they can access in order to buy insurance products — traditional or otherwise. However unfortunately, the same opportunities for security are not readily available to individuals who’d like to be ensured using their crypto funds.
No more; as Our Manifesto — Protection should not be conditional.
With the launch of PolkaCover’s Insurance Aggregator dApp CoverCompared coming up in 2021’s Q3, we will be the world’s first insurance marketplace that will cater to the needs of everyone — be they someone looking to insure their traditional assets, crypto funds, or even themselves, all with the option of paying in cryptocurrency with full access to relevant data on the products they decide to purchase.
Our users will have full transparency on every line of insurance they require — this is a founding tenant of our platform and is essentially how we aim to inject the values that crypto represents into more traditional streams of business. With the platform providing ready data on all of the policies available on our platform, we aim to give each consumer the freedom to make a well-informed decisions before any purchase is made.
In order to achieve our goal of holistically marrying the traditional and crypto insurance spaces, we’ve partnered with several world-renowned multi-national insurance providers — our marketplace will host a basket of products, from Smart Contract protection to Device insurance, Life insurance, and more.
We’re breaking into a sector and aiming to achieve something that’s never been done before — the nature of our endeavor to provide the community crypto-purchasable insurance products is unprecedented.
Insurance De-Mystified Series
To inform the community — and aligning with our aforementioned goals of transparency to our consumers — our founder Kunal Sadani will be hosting weekly video sessions; the Insurance De-mystified series will feature an in-depth analysis and disseminate the minutiae of all the covers we will be launching our dApp with.
Each week will expand upon a particular insurance provider and ‘demystify’ the products that CoverCompared will be offering on the platform — a technical analysis of the policies highlighting what is covered and not. Insurance within this space is still a topic that evades a lot of people, and thus we feel it is important to familiarize our community with the finer nitty-gritty details of each product we offer.
With the upcoming launch of our dApp, we hope to share with our community the goals that we’re hoping to achieve and take them with us on CoverCompared’s journey to making insurance accessible to anyone and everyone — without the perfidious fine-print complexities shrouded within the traditional insurance sector.
