Q.1 Let’s begin by introducing yourself as well as your project
Sure. My name is Kunal Sadani and I am the CEO of CoverCompared.
To give a bit of background on myself, I have been based in Dubai (UAE) for over 15+ years. The majority of my experience has been developing, building & managing large-scale B2C insurance products & markets with multinational insurance companies (AIG & Allianz). I have worked in senior leadership roles building products & partnerships in the Middle East & Africa Region. In my last position, I headed the Retail Insurance vertical for Policybazaar (an insurtech valued at over $1billion with VC partners like SoftBank & Tencent).
Through our project “CoverCompared”, we bring forth a platform that will be offering a combination of both crypto-asset-based & traditional insurance policies for our users to choose from at incredibly affordable rates all in exchange for cryptocurrencies.
Our project has been running since late 2019 and our aim is prioritizing safety for users by offering insurance coverage whether it be in the traditional sense or in regards to your crypto assets.
Q.2 Congratulations on your dApp going live. Could you please elaborate on CoverCompared’s offerings?
Thank you! Our dApp is currently live and we offer varied traditional as well as crypto-based insurance policies. CoverCompared is basically a frictionless marketplace that offers varied traditional as well as crypto-asset-based insurance policies so that our users can customize & purchase as per their needs.
This is the first time that we are offering a platform where users can purchase both traditional as well as crypto-insurance in exchange for cryptocurrency.

Q.3 With crypto labelled as the future of currency, how would you say CoverCompared plays into that?
At CoverCompared, we are always on a constant journey to bring forth new innovations to the DeFi space that would suit the need of users. As mentioned, we are the first-ever marketplace to offer a combination of traditional as well as crypto-asset based insurance policies & provide the option for our users to pick & choose as per their needs all in exchange for their crypto tokens. This has never before been done and will further revolutionize the way we view the insurance industry & pick up the pace as we turn more digital. The fact that traditional insurance can be purchased in exchange for cryptocurrencies in itself is a huge selling point on how our platform is going to be beneficial in the long run!
Q.4 What are some of the traditional insurance our users can look forward to buying from the CoverCompared dApp?
We currently have onboarded varied traditional insurance partners and our dApp will be offering travel insurance, health insurance as well as device insurance. We also offer traditional MSO products which are medical second opinion products that offer a second opinion on your medical diagnosis from world-leading medical centres.
These are only a few of the traditional insurance so far and we will surely be onboarding more so stay tuned!

Q.3 What would you say are the strong points that will help you lead in the insurance market?
